Mango IRC - Chat client アプリのレビュー

日本語が通らない...

デザインはいいのだが、日本語が入力できないので、IRCクライアントとしては使い物にならない。

NO PLACE TO TYPE YOUR SERVER PASS

This is the worst IRC “Client” Ever. I paid to get satisfied! now I want my money back. Read the title again please.

I'm NOT Blind!

OMG!!! When I started this app up all I had was super-massively large fonts for everything! When I went to the menu to try to shrink the font size down I discovered it was already set to "Smallest" and changing it to another (hoping it was backwards) only made the font even larger. I had to maximize it on my 22 inch monitor just to be able to see the host configuration window. Epic fail just based on font size - I'm not going to use one large monitor for this window.

Garbage - Do Not Buy

This is unusable. That’s a shame, too, since it appears to be the ONLY IRC client left in the App store. I use Linkinus on other Macs and it works fine. Wish I could buy that one.

Waste! Don’t buy this

Broken app. Just see a giant box (that is non-responsive) when I try to join/add a server. What a waste of money. Do NOT buy this.

Interface is broken on OS X 10.10.1

I’m unable to join any server because the form by which I would do so is almost totally hidden from view.

Application quits

Using Mac OS 10.6.8, Mango quits out as soon as I attempt to join any server, so I cannot recommend it

Waste of money

The layout of this app was broken from the beginning. It is completely unusable. I want my money back - what a waste!

When oppening the App

and trying to add a server , the drop down fields for adding the server are too large to access and and the server. then the program crashes after trying to close. Needs to have its preferences checked within the app for default sizes of menu items and windows. And test toroughly with the newest osx version. Other than that Im sure it would be a good app if it would work.

Good app, some oddities, but overall good.

Here's my suggestions: - Allow me to send chanserv commands on login somehow. - Move the textfield for a given channel to the bottom. Its really weird with it up at the top. - If you're in search with some text in there, and go somewhere else in the app there's some weird FirstResponder problems, namely that it won't change. - Add some color configurations. The default colors are a little hard to discern from one another. ie: i'd bold user names first off. Love the overall design though.

Mostly a good App

Though it definitely has some short comings ( I can't figure out how to copy a line out of a chat ), configuration is easy, and options are plentiful. Auto authentication against servers like FreeNode is nice too.

Total waste of money , I want a refund

I just bought this application, and it is a total waste of money, when you try and just add a server it pops up a a GIANT text box, where everything except the left side of the ok button is visible. In other words, you cannot even enter the server to connect to. And then 30 seconds later it crashes. This is both on a 13" rMBP and a 15" rMBP.. Don't waste your money on this, even though it is not that much.

It

I bought this thinking that this will provide search functionality. But it crashed every time I tried to search something. Couldn't recommand this for anyone. Limechat is way better than this. Is there a way to get back my money?

WORST IRC APP EVER

EVERY time I try to search a new server, it crashes. 100% useless garbage.

So far so good, but still a long way to go

It's nice that this app now has SSL support, but where are the preferences? It's still my current IRC client, as it's the only one I've found with support for full screen in Lion.

what

not working. what this?

Meh, still...

The UI is cleaner that Linkinus. However, there are no preferences at all :( Additionally it does not support SSL IRC connections. For a version 2.x product I would think you would at least be able to change the colors and fonts!

Great app, just needs to be stabilized

This is about the prettiest, most Mac like IRC client I have used. However it doesn't have basic keybindings such as Command-Q for quit etc... and it crashes too often for a chat client. If you leave it running for a day, and come back it will be locked.

need more features

please add prefrences to change some options and add support for growl. otherwise a nice looking app.

One of the best IRC clients in a long time!

Having used Linkinus, LimeChat, and many other OS X IRC clients, this one is by far the best one. Subtle colouring, integrated full-screen support for Lion (and no crashing!), and ease of use makes this my favorite IRC client. Even though there are no preference to set, you really don't need to set any - it has everything you need out of the box for basic IRC uses.

UI is Fantastic

Developer is really helpful and avaliable in IRC.

Could use some work

I like the look and feel of this app overall, but after using it for a couple of days there are a few things that jump out at me. 1. Not being able to select text in the channel. 2. Not having tab autocompletion. 3. Not being able to resize the two columns 4. No preferences or options to speak of. If these minor issues were addressed this app would be perfect for me. Overall it feels like an iOS app that was ported to OSX.

Overall the quality of this app is awesome.

Doesnt seem to support SSL, and If i had a hotkey for switching between rooms that would be fantastic. Also, you cant copy multiple lines which is kind of frustrating when someone says something funny and you want to compare. Id give it 4 stars if it had that. 5 if it supported SSL

Like the Feel, Dislike the Bugs

Honestly, I've been using it for part of a day and the bugs are irriating. I close my lid with Mango open and upon return, Mac OS X / The Dock appear to not recognize that Mango is running and I'm unable to Quit through the menu or with Command-Q. I am unable to use the nickname auto-completion. Tab does not work and the 'X' does not actually close the dialog. I like it, but it needs some polishing. Good luck on it!

Best so far, but could beat all forever!

I have been looking for a good OSX IRC client for the Mac. Pretty much everything I found is no longer supported, with support ending around 2006. I like X-chat, but only being able to run it via X kinda stinks. This app looks like the cleanest of all the ones I looked at, both in and out of the Mac App Store. It's really clean and modern, yet still has that console style. It did however crash when I tried to join a server where the username was already taken. But with support, and updates, I feel this app has great potential.
